Nebula lampshade

A lamp created by Italian designer Riccardo Bovo. An object that doesn’t only reflect the extensive research done on computational tools essential to the production process, but also wants to represent and symbolize the new concept of plastic objects printed in 3D, no more seen as a synonym for unfinished project or in the prototyping stage, but as final products, the result of new processes with different meanings and functionalities. A work of sculptural lighting with a silhouette looking like an egg, composed of many elements, curved lines that run through the soft bendings crossed from the bright core. A glow from the inside that slips through the forms, drawing them with gentle lighting effects and shadows.
