Schipper/Arques fall/winter 2013

Boris Schipper and Tomas Pedrosa Arques form a creative duo since 1998, a partnership that leads them to found the label Schipper/Arques in 2008. A decidedly feminine approach to fashion, lavish garments that mix a haute couture and tailoring taste with underground influences, almost avant-garde, in the construction of the silhouettes. A characteristic that we can see even in the sculptural and impressive volumes of the fall/winter 2013 collection, rich in baroque-looking details, from the stones embroderies that make up artist likes to re-create on the model’s face, the luxurious fabrics and the bright colors contrasted with the opulence of gold.
