Drunken pasta

In Italy it’s common to use wine in the kitchen, many dishes, especially meat or fish, are prepared with wine. Some first courses, such as risotto, are often blended with white wine, but this time we present a recipe in which pasta, spaghetti in this case, is literally cooked in red wine. I’ve seen pasta cooked this way before and I’m curious to try, maybe following the simple instructions of “The Italian dish“, the blog by Italo-American Elaine McCardel, which offers traditional Italian dishes passed down by her mother Angela.
