Messenger Airbag

Messenger Airbag

Jun 24 2011, 8:32 am 0 Monica Bogliolo

Interesting concept of budding designers Derek Yeung and Alexandra Hart. The reuse of an extremely strong and durable material as the nylon used to make airbags, to create a messenger bag, an object useful and usable in everyday life. This not only contributes to the disposal of a material that is otherwise impossible to recycle, but extends its normal life cycle. Each component of this bag (also very pleasant to the eye) is made from materials derived from old cars into disuse, such as seat belts, cushion head rest and snap buttons.
