GIO console

It was in 2011 when we showed for the first time the chair “Chubby“, a project created by Russian designer Vladimir Tomilov. Today, with “GIO”, we talk again about this talented designer who is confirmed, along with Maxim Maximov and Tembolat Gugkaev, as one of the most promising young in Russian design. A console dedicated to the memory of Italian architect and designer Gio Ponti. A structure that combines the warmth and passion of wood to the modern and cold steel, in a harmony of geometries and precision, enriched and characterized by leather inserts that wrap the elements, giving shape and life to the lower shelf and embellishing the upper surface. The encounter between different materials makes it a unique and attractive solution for the home and the office.
