Fine furniture with unusual cuts are those created and presented by designer Gareth Batowski at Tent London during the London Design Festival. A collection that consistis of four elements: Ligneous cupboard, Parity desk, Endgrain armchair and Pedestal chest of drawers. Pieces of furniture with the disarming beauty, to observe and touch for hours. An incredible and surprising exploration of bright and dark, light and shadow, where art and craftsmanship are fused in a perfect balance of materials. The tangibility of wood outlines the solidity of the structure, the gloss and transparency obtained from the resinic material lighter the structure in a game of presence and absence, an aesthetic and visual connection with nature, a confrontation between its beauty and its strength.
