Eki Orleans fall/winter 2012

I’m developing a kind of obsession with structured dresses, especially if close-fitting on the top and bulky on the hips, high waisted and colorful. They’re perfect in winter, with thick tights and strictly heeled shoees. The brand of which I speak today, Eki Orleans, presents a fall/winter 2012-13 collection composed exclusively of dresses. The designer and founder of the brand, Hazel Aggrey-Orleans, masterfully manages to blend the charm of the land where she lived her childhood, Nigeria, with the austerity of her German roots, creating pieces featuring the African-inspired prints and sculpture silhouettes.
