A stool made of hard maple wood, created by Canadian designer Robyn Luk. An object that celebrates the culinary culture, the real “slow food” cooking, made of labor, quality and passion. A furnishing solution that combines in itself the aesthetic features of kitchen tool par excellence, the mortar (it might be because I grew up in an environment where traditional cuisine was very important and well rooted in the territory, but when I think of a kitchen I can’t imagine it without a rolling pin and a mortar). A small, simple and practical seat with a characteristic round bottom able to slip away and at need turn the base in an area for processing and preparing food, or simply in a container.
