Sterk shelves

A series of shelves made ​​by Norwegian designer Siri Yran, solutions that are part of the project “VVOOD”, a more extensive research created with the aim of exploring, through the exploitation of local natural resources, the different qualities and possibilities offered by Norwegian woodlands. Essential structures that simply and naturally express the strength and durability of the material. Hand-crafted pieces of furniture made ​​of rectangular counter tops, surfaces in pine, birch and ash wood supported by oak and maple brackets, joint elements specially designed for an easy assembly that doesn’t require any glue or screws.
