For the usual Friday column dedicated to lighting design today we show you “LodenLight” a bright tribute to wool, created by Stockholm based designer Kaja Solgaard. A series of textile pendant lamps, geometric compositions made tough and strong, made of Norwegian lamb’s wool, carded and quilted, in which are still visible plant filaments, expressly left as a reference to its natural origins. Structures with natural color, fibers that filter and soften the light source, making the rooms warm and comfortable, ideal solutions for the winter months when darkness prevails over the day and the cold becomes more intense.
