One of the typical local winter desserts is the Piedmontese hazelnut cake. The original recipe doesn’t see the use of flour, but this alternative from “The Answer is Cake” is the right compromise between taste and ease of preparation. Simply delicious, especially if accompanied by hot zabaione cream!
