Bompas and Parr golf course cake

Food architects and experimenters Sam Bompas and Harry Parr have created a nine-hole cake based crazy golf course on the roof of Selfridges in London. Each frosted icing, fondant and jelly decorated hole represents a famous London landmark. Have a look at some of the images here to see it in all its British eccentricity: feature image: Big Ben, image two: jelly landmarks London, image three: the Gherkin, image four: “club rules” and image five: Tower Bridge. If being surrounded by all that jelly makes you feel hungry there is also the 100% organic café which will serve rooftop tea-time treats. It’s well worth a visit if you’re in London and looking for a snack and a bit of bakery themed fun … Have a peek at the Selfridges website for more details and the Bompas and Parr website for a look at their inventive food art.
