Stathis Samantas spring/summer 2012

Stathis Samantas is a greek shoe designer. After a course of study in industrial design lasted four years, Stathis dedicated to his true passion: shoes. At first he creates only a few manufactured custom models, but the vocation is too strong, so he resigned from his job to attend the 12th Biennale of New Artists in the Mediterranean in 2005, where is chosen among all the participants as representative of the Greece. From there, the creation of his own brand is a short and natural step. The new spring/summer 2012 collections presents fresh and colorful pieces, with patterns and lines, but without excess. The models are essentially stiletto heel or, on the contrary, super low laced oxfords. The materials used range from colored fabric, to raw canvas, to cork, left natural to enhance its aesthetic features.
