Chestnut and vanilla cream

Nov 09 2012, 2:30 pm 0 Monica Bogliolo

Today I wanted to present a recipe with a seasonal ingredient, and I came up with chestnuts, the tipical autumn fruit. We usually eat them roasted in the traditional foil, or as a base for baked desserts, but one of the simplest and most delicious preparations is the chestnut and vanilla cream, often mistaken for a jam, but actually much easier. Manuela Zangara, Italian blogger now based in Australia, who writes on her blog “Manu’s Menu“, explains how to cook it step by step.
