Cookie Ann spring/summer 2012

After last summer’s colour block, this season sees the return of pastel colors. A word that made me immediately thik of suits and hats and wedding scenes from the 90′s, but I had to change my mind: the trend of soft colors, peach and mint on all, is a nice breath of fresh air. One of the most interesting collections that explore this trend was made by designer Cookie Ann: clothes that seem to come out of a cloud of cotton candy, with unicorns patterns and green haired models. Contrary to what one would expect, the collection is not mincing, but draws from vintage and street style, declined in a range of feminine colors, but suitable for a woman of character who’s not afraid to be noticed.
