Designer Suit

Eight designers plus fifty-four playing cards, equal “Designer suit”: a project collaboration between students of the Central Saint Martins University of Arts in London, coming from Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. The graphic designers Yong Ping Loo, Clara Yee, Edward Goh, Edward John Sebastian Chiu, Francis Li Man Tik, Junn Tseng Yean, Joshua Lee, Suhui Hee were challenged in redesigning a traditional deck of poker cards, giving life to real works of art, creations enriched and influenced by the different background of each designer; different styles that come together in a deck of cards with unique and cohesive visual appearance.
