The Editor spring/summer 2013

The great merit of this edition of Pitti Immagine, was to give me confidence in the Italian creativity again. There are many new brands on the rise that take up the Italian style closer and closer to the rest of Europe, and The Editor is one of the names that has raised more rumors in the latest editions of the fair. Launched just a few seasons ago with the spring 2012 collection, its success was immediate and extraordinary, guaranteeing to the label a place in the best shops in Europe. Born from the creative mind of the cool hunter Vincenzo Modesti and the company Calypso, The Editor mixes the typical Italian tailoring style with contemporary details, like the all-over prints. In parallel to the collections, also collaborations are developed (after the sensational one with Saucony, a series of sneakers in collaboration with Diadora is scheduled for spring 2014, and we can’t wait to tell you about).
