Today we show “Chopped tree”, the library created by Slovak designer Lenka Czereova. A wooden shelving characterized by the rigid geometries of the linear and neat cuts, an unusual stylized silhouette that through a creative symbolism meant to represent the second life of a tree after it’s been pulled down. A solution that, interpreting the moment when the tree trunk is cut and falls to the ground, transforms a structure that initially looks stiff and essential, in a flexible, mobile and lively piece of furniture composed of four elements that can be stacked and fixed to each others by means of joints, or used individually, according to the requirements and the desired visual effect.
