MaD quilling works

Dec 05 2012, 10:30 am 0 Monica Bogliolo

MaD is an acronym for “Mother And Daughter”, but is also the instinct ration that people have about these works: they must be mad! We are talking about Leopoldina e Jolene Quiterio D’souza, mother and daughter designers/artisans duo, who make these works of precision and patience with the quilling technique, by bending strips of colored paper with which create patterns that resemble traditional ceramics and majolica. Works created with care and that require time and technical skills, that are rewarded by the extraordinary aesthetic result.
