Savio Barbato spring/summer 2014

The typically Italian craftsmanship joins style in the creations of Savio Barbato, who presented at Pitti Immagine his spring/summer 2014 footwear collection. A constant research that led him to seek for inspiration among the markets and streets of European cities, from Paris to London to Berlin, to then achieve at home, in Naples, his vision. When we arrive, the stand is still under construction and Savio tells the story of his shoes while, as a loving father, arranges them in order. On the one hand we have the laced shoes with bright colors and interweaving, classic but with a twist, which are opposed to the style of the futuristic sneakers, reminiscent of the 90′s. And yet, Texans booties who are tinged with water green and are covered with roses (the blacks ones are among my favorites of the collection), and the women’s line, with sculptural shapes and couture flavor. A varied collection, able to meet different tastes and styles, but all equally characterized by creativity and quality.
