The Little Black Shoe

The first commercial collection of designer Sophie Cox, “The Little Black Shoe”, is a tribute to discreet glamour, French fashion of the 80′s and film noir. A collection with pieces in limited edition and numbered, with precise stylistic references, from the satin tips evoking the lapel of a YSL Smoking, to the perspex heel that gives a nod to Helmut Newton. To test each of the models, the designer has worn her creations in different situations, from the dance floor, to the endless walks through the streets of London, to the atelier visits. A series of shoes designed to become classics, just as suggested by the name of the collection and declare by Sophie: “We all need a little black dress and we definitely deserve a little black shoe…or two”.
