For the usual Friday column dedicated to lighting design today we show “Owl”, the project created by the Egyptian designer Cherif Morsi and presented at 100%Design during the London Design Festival 2013. A lamp defined by simple lines, voids that outline a modern structure with an essential design in contrast with the full shapes and the classicism of the characterizing lampshades, two elements positioned in an asymmetrical way, light sources that like the eyes of an owl appear in the darkness of the night. An elegant lighting solution that can be placed on a table, leaning on a desk or simply left on the floor as an intriguing environment lamp.
