Simple design is always very effective as well “like-able”, but you should not forget some of its fundamental rules, it has to be functional and easy to use. Edi, the work of Tommaso Bistacchi has that, a single piece of hard walnut wood is crafted in order to hold pens, pencils, papers and business cards, as you can see, it has various applications. Simple, easy to use and in my humble opinion aesthetically pleasing. Another great thing about this, is that it has an incorporated lamp, which you can use on your desk for reading, since it produces a soft light. You can position the light differently thanks to the two straight cuts in the wood piece.
