Jamais Sans Toi ceramic jewels

Sometimes I’m amazed about how much creativity there is around me. I always thought of Turin as a city of workers, gray and a little sleepy, but each new event I participate makes me change my mind. So it was for Jamais Sans Toi, a Turin based designer duo discovered last weekend at the ninth edition of Paratissima. I read the bio of the sisters Camilla and Valentina about their work relationship, and since I’m working with my sister I was impressed by the good team they make. Of course, the main point of interest is their creations, ethereal ceramic jewelry that undergo a meticulous process: hand-crafted in white earthenware, baked, glazed and then subjected to further baking. Each piece is unique, the result of a creative process that employs ancient techniques of hundreds of years. Rounded, organic and fluid shapes, which seem to grow on the wearer to wrap it in a material hug. In the pictures that you find in the gallery a few pieces of their latest collection “Luxury”.
