Ahoy Ahimsa flower jewelry

Here in Minnesota, it’s grey and gloomy. They’re even forecasting snow later in the week. Right now, I need any glimpse of spring I can get. So it was refreshing to come across this line of jewelry, Ahoy Ahimsa, made out of brightly colored flower petals. The artist, who lives and works in Berlin, grows flowers out on her balcony, and preserves them, turning them into attractive pendants. Every piece is handmade by pressing petals, and coating them with a transparent synthetic material, which is light and almost unbreakable. The edges of the pendant are then smoothed and polished by hand, then a hole is drilled for the chain, letting the shapes, colours and textures from nature shine through.
