We have already talked about
Liz Black, when we presented the 2011 winter collection, which featured the strange circle dress (see, among others, on Lady Gaga), legacy of the geometric shapes of her earlier creations. A young designer, who recently presented her third collection, “Ready to Board”, which leaves aside the costume-looking clothes and artistic inspirations, to devote to a more mature and wearable ready-to-wear. There aren’t the style exercises, although engaging and spectacular, with whom she had delighted us in her getting from school to work, but a series of pieces that still retain the distinctive style of the designer. The geometric shapes return, in the form of asymmetrical cuts and curls that create three-dimensional details, and the circle is still present
in the structured and sculptural hip and shoulders. There aren’t many differences in the use of colors, remaining in the field of white, blues and violets, with some metal accents.
