Banquinho lamp

Today, for the usual Friday column dedicated to lighting design I propose Banquinho, a curious lighting solution created by Portuguese designer Cláudia Rolim. A lamp that comes from an old stool, an object of traditional Portuguese handicraft that, from the designer’s childhood memories, lives in the form of light, transforming into a contemporary piece of sustainable design. A lamp with attached a surface to keep by the bed, to accompany you with his light in reading and storing books and small items. Banquinho can be purchased from 99 Euros on MapDesign online store.
