Yuri Suzuki’s Colour Chaser

It’s a late afternoon, at the end of July. The city is empty, but there is a new installation at Mudam, the modern art museum in Luxembourg. There is an electronic dj-set, few people. It seems like the museum is open just for us. With few word, they explain me the installation and then they told me: you can try it! And then, I just return back as a little girl that I use to be. Yuri Suzuki‘s installation is a big white canvas, where visitors can create their own work: they are free to drawn with a black marker and many colors, each single one provide his symphony. Yes, it’s true, colors have tones! Little, super funny robots, follow the black line and while crossing colored lines they translate it into music. And when I tried, I fell that was a little fantastic trick of magic. That still makes me dream to try it again and again.
