Loom lounge chair

A piece of furniture that celebrates the crafts, a homage that sees the combination of soft and hard materials through experimentation and the integration of textile techniques on scale, a lounge chair created by Canadian designer Laura Carwardine. A simple structure left natural, various wooden elements wedged together that define its minimal silhouette, and a single piece of orange rope characterizes it, embracing the elements and creating the seat and backrest of Loom. A solution which can be viewed live at the Interior Design Show to be held in Toronto January 24 to 27.
