Karin Feller spring/summer 2014

We just started writing again after the summer holidays, showing you the first fall/winter collections to inspire you in the season that is about to begin. But the fashion world travels into the future, and spring/summer 2014 collections have been presented months ago. Usually, at this time of the year anything that attracts my attention is heavy, woolen and layered, but I like to introduce you a few spring collection that strikes me, just to get an idea of the direction we will take within a year. The Brazilian designer Karin Feller was inspired by the colors and landscapes of her homeland, particularly in the region of Maceió, with the use of pastel colors and prints that she drawn herself, bearing elements of the local flora and fauna, and accessories that hark back to the tradition of craftsmanship and the fishing activities.
