Atelier Love fall/winter 2013

Flying, even for a trip of a few days, with a low-cost company means, as you know, small and light baggage. Going to a trade show or event and fly back home with a low-cost company means, in this case, having to leave most of the press material, except for businesscards and the most beautiful catalogs, the ones that would really be a shame to throw. This is what happened when, after Who’s Next, I decided to keep Atelier Love‘s material, not only because I was fascinated by the clothing, but to decide to understand more about such an heterogeneous brand. On the one hand, the spring/summer 2013 is characterized by colorful checked prints, while inverting the catalog you can enjoy the fall/winter 2013 collection, with a completely different style. Minimal and sculptural silhouettes, structured dresses, heavy fabrics and the almost total absence of patterns, the only plots are represented by the quilted processing of the fabric. Pastel and warm colors and well defined shapes for a sober collection, sometimes austere, simply awesome.
