A fluo explosion among the stands of the Tent London at the London Design Festival, introduces us to the world of “W&Q“, the duo composed by Qiongjie Yu, graphic designer, and Siwen Huang, print and material designer. The two focused their research in the field of crafts, reinterpreting the traditional technique of bamboo weaving, and combining it with a range of unusual and modern colors, creating intricate geometric and three-dimensional patterns. Chairs with the minimal structure in steel or old vintage frames are transformed into colorful pieces of furniture with a distinctly feminine taste. And if the multicolor chairs are not for you, Qiongjie and Siwen also produce small rigid clutches with the same technique and the same, striking use of contrasting colors.
