Ruray lamp

Thinking back about the conversation that took place at 100%Design during the London Design Festival 2012 with the Irish designer from Shane Holland Design Workshops, today for the usual Friday column dedicated to lighting design we decided to show you “Ruray” lamp. A LED desk light that strikes for the characteristic shape, curves and spirals that find inspiration from the force of nature, from the waves that raise off the Irish coast with stately elegance. A dynamic solution that can be used both horizontally and vertically, an handcrafted object, made with a composite material in aluminum with a flexible LED strip that runs laterally the lamp, to create a wider and more efficient illumination area. “Ruray” can be purchased online at about 215 Euros in a range of different colors.
