Our journey at the discovery and rediscovery of the projects we admired during the Milan Design Week continues. Today we present “Modified”, the coat rack seen at the SaloneSatellite in the spaces of
iSaloni 2013, created by the designer of Korean origins who lives and works in Milan,
Taewoo Kim. An essential design solution, a structure consisting of four tubular steel elements coated in plastic, simple staggered lines that intersect to form an x, in a game of shapes and distortions which can give rise to optical illusions, not only aesthetic effects but functional geometries and cuts specifically designed to act as hooks on which to hang clothes and accessories. We also invite you to see the other two furniture solutions presented in his stand, the efficiency and structural precision represented in the chair LINEE and the desk lamp Asterisk.
