The solution we have chosen to show you today for the usual Friday column dedicated to lighting design is “Traveling Light”, the lamp created by French designer Jean Charles Amey. A piece of design able to combine functionality and minimalism, born from the need to explore and redefine the classic shapes and types offered by contemporary lighting. Simple elements and materials united together to redesign a common object, giving life to a fascinating basic structure, which leads me to mind the iconic travel bundle hanging from a stick. A pendant lamp that leans against the wall and is fixed and stabilized through a hook, a mobile solution that can be moved and removed with ease, adapting to every need and place of installation, illuminating both the inside and the outside.
