This year
Salone Satellite hosted the first official exhibition of “Chilean Design” in Italy, with eight selected designers, where – in addition to the welcome confirmation of GT2P studio, projects that we had the pleasure to enjoy during
London Design Festival 2011 – we had the opportunity to meet Macarena Pollock, interior and product designer, as well as the creator of an amazing and innovative products line called “Gorgiera”. An incredible folding bowl made of carved paper and designed to be able to expose, carry and at the same time protect as a second skin, in a simple and secure way, four pieces of the same type of fruit. A container in three different sizes, made from a pleated bellows that composes a geometric grid with a design deliberately inspired by the collars (gorget) that were in use in the Renaissance period.
