Viruteria wooden jewels

You may remember “No se haga bolas“, the desk dispenser created by the Mexican designers from Masiosare studio. Today we present another project from the same studio: “Virutería”, a line of unisex jewelry made entirely of wood treated with the veneer technique, which gives it a special texture and permits to incorporate different species into a single element. The word Virutería is composed of viruta, which in Spanish means the shavings derived from wood processing, and bisuteria, jewelry, always in Spanish. A project that involves fashion and sustainability, designed and made with a material biodegradable and 100% renewable.
