The City Lamp

The City Lamp

As usual on Friday we dedicate a post to the lighting design. Today we want to present “City Lamp”, a classic yet sophisticated table lamp, shaped like a traditional bedside lamp, created by Russian designer Anna Neklesa. The curious name is due to the feature that makes it unique: some small square stones, minerals embedded at its base, that absorb the energy of the main light source (from the lamp when is turned on or from the sun during the day) giving a colorful glow that reminds the windows of urban building that illuminate the cities.

Designer: Anna Neklesa
