Lanzavecchia + Wai, two cultural realities that feed off each other. Francesca Lanzavecchia, Italian designer with an interest in the relationship between object and human body, and Hunn Wai, Singaporean designer fascinated by the mix of materials, the shapes and their meanings. A collaboration between two young creatives who gave life to the collection “No Country for Old Men”, a series of furniture with a contemporary design that we had the pleasure of admiring at
Salone Satellite in Milan. Together Canes, Assunta and MonoLight, three objects in a perfect mix between aesthetics and functionality, specially designed to facilitate the life of older people and assist their daily needs. Move around easily and safely through “Together Canes”, an aid for walking. A practical tripod with wheels, in three variants: T-cane, with a circular tray, that becomes the perfect companion for tea time, U-cane, with a roomy container rack suitable for storage of needles and balls of wool, and I-cane, the support for 2.0 elderly. Relax comfortably with no worries, thanks to “Assunta” the chair that helps you to get up. A structure that using the weight of the body as a lever, lifts and tilts the chair, facilitating the action and accompanying the movement. And finally, read easily, thanks to “Monolight,” the LED table lamp that illuminates and magnifies.
