Rolling Up modular daybed

Using waste products of a manufacturing company specialized in the production of upholstered furnishings, Italian designer Stefano Contini created “Rolling Up”: a blend between a chaise longue, a sofa and a bed, in short, a modular daybed. A project that, using the process of conversion of materials and reinterpreting the abundant surplus, transforms useless leftovers into a new product with new features and a different utility. A comfortable and lively seat, composed of several stuffed and rolled tissues, mounted on a wood and polystyrene base.
