Recreate

The recycling of old items is becoming more and more a necessity. In this case we can talk about real “art of recycling.”
Katie Thompson is a young South African designer, who creates small furniture, lamps and ornaments giving new life to old objects no longer used, keeping the spirit but giving them a new function. With the imagination and sensitivity of Katie, cases become sofas or little tables, the bottles are turned into lamps, metal tubs into comfy stools … Enter (at least virtually) the “Recreate” studio is like taking a journey in time, in an enchanted and magical world, full of old items that could only be found in some dusty attic.
The objects that Katie creates can be purchased on her site.
