Here’s Heather M. La Force, the artist that we present today.
Browsing through her works, we are surprised, waiting in vain for a “normal” expression. But no, it’s this the characteristic that differentiates her from other artists: showing only people in unusual facial expressions, most of the time very funny. Heather says it’s fascinating to see how faces can come in many different expressions and how, with age, becomes even more curious, since some wrinkles on the face are formed, that give greater intensity to any expression. In addition she says that a mature person who undertakes to make an expression considered “youth” emerges a sense of strangeness that she considers funny. It only remains to see her oil and tempera on canvas and … smile.
