Hobo Lantern is a luminary created by Canadian studio Molo Design. A portable lighting object shaped as a shopping bag, inspired by the nightlife of Zona Tortona in the frame of Milan Design Week. Currently the studio is developing fifty units in limited edition with hand painted sun-disk symbol of Japan on the lantern and packaging, which will be available from 12 to 17 April at the Temporary Museum for New Design during the Design Week in Milan at a cost of 150 Dollars. The proceeds will be entirely donated in support of “Architecture for Humanity” for reconstruction in the areas devastated by the recent disaster.
