Imperfect Mandala collection

Apr 15 2013, 12:30 pm 0 Monica Bogliolo

The works of the Iranian-Canadian designer Daphne Mohajer Va Pesaran immediately look more like works of art than as clothing aimed at a real audience. Surely the objective of her line De Face goes beyond the pret-a-porter to explore more complex fields, which are inspired by her homeland, her background as a journalist and photographer, in her constant migrations that now see her in Tokyo, a town and a country that also influence her. Conceptual garments, created to hide the body, to disguise rather than dress, in a sparkling of colors and patterns with oriental flavor.
