Not long ago, we talked about “
Botteghino“, the wallet created by Italian designer Pietro Baraldi, made with film scraps. During these months, experimenting with various possibilities of application of the material, and the particular type of tissue derived from the interweaving of strips of film, Pietro has developed new accessories. This are the card holder “Martina”, basically a bigger version of “Botteghino”, and my favorite, “Jennifer” bag. Let’s start from the beginning. I had the opportunity to experience the strength and the aesthetic of the material thanks to a very welcome gift by the designer himself of one of his wallets, but I have to admit I had some doubt about the new accessories he was creating. In fact I imagined something completely different, much more spartan, almost an experiment to demonstrate the various applications of his idea, rather than a truly useful object. Instead, the images of the bag left me speechless. A very elegant and sophisticated model, that has nothing of the prototype (though it is, and for this reason may need the latest finishes), in short, a bag that is not only beautiful, but also easy to use in everyday life. It’s possible to book your custom bag and card holder on request, taking as model the various patterns of “Botteghino” in the catalog, which can be replicated to the bag, after discussing the details on the colors and interior linings. I renew my compliments to Pietro and his brilliant idea!
