Abide spring/summer 2012

Here we are, maybe. The temperatures are rising slowly, the days get longer. Maybe winter is really over (let’s say it softly though). It’s time to think about what to wear. Orange will be the colour of the spring in all its variations, from coral to peach, but mint green is also timidly coming forward. Abide bases its spring/summer 2012 collection on these shades. Abide is a small brand founded by British designer Kim Mckellar, which produces all the garments by hand in her laboratory in Devon. Far away from mass production and large homogeneous trends, Abide makes of the quality of tissues and handmade its strength. The color, accompanied by white pieces, is the main characteristics of the creations, with a palette of pastel shades with some stronger notes.
