Thief and Bandit fall 2011

Although fall still seems far away, and temperatures, all throughout Europe, more or less, unfortunately, are still hot like summer, early autumn trends timidly begin to peep on the web. It seems that one of the most solid will be the return of the Navaho patterns, typical of the 80s and 90s. If this trend doesn’t fully convince you, or simply you’re not accustomed to shopping sprees, we propose a very attractive low price solution. The designer and artist Amie Cunningham, after graduating from the prestigious Parsons The New School for Design, created the brand “Thief and Bandit”, for which she makes hand-printed garments with bamboo organic jersey, characterized by patterns typical of native American culture, enhanced by un unexpected discreet shade of gold. A fresh and colorful collection, which includes apparel and accessories of all kinds, both for men and women (and a child collection). It ranges from leggings, turbans, necklaces, t-shirt and, my favorite pieces, ponchos, perfect to brighten up a simple outfit. Now we just have to wait for autumn …
