Sur Ciel cloud-chair

Sur Ciel cloud-chair

Sep 26 2011, 8:00 am 0 Monica Bogliolo

An interesting project from Iceland designer Jón Helgi Hólmgeirsson, inspired by the small French village of Cordes sur Ciel, often wrapped in a blanket of fog and clouds that make it look as if suspended. The same feeling of softness, transparency and isolation is transmitted through Sur Ciel, a chair that allows you to isolate yourself from the outside world, almost disappearing in a cloud of fabric, which allows you to enjoy moments of comfort and intimacy. In addition, the lining of this particular chair may be removed, to be washed or to become a huge and unstructured dress/tunic.
