Desk by Benjamin Boyce

Today I want to show you the desk created by British designer and craftsman Benjamin Boyce, presented by “The Hospital Club” in the exhibition spaces of Designjunction during the London Design Festival 2013. A piece of furniture that defies the common perception, a solution with a contemporary design, the result of a harmonious interplay between tradition and modern irreverence. A structure made of solid oak with two large drawers and characterized by a table top softly curved of ninety degrees and coated with vinyl in a delicate green color, in which the horizontal support surface joins the vertical one. An elegant desk whose lines dictated by a hand-crafted work and a classic style, soften to give life to a new ergonomics.
