Call it a lamp would be reductive, it might be more suitable call it a sculpture or perhaps, more general and open to interpretation, “art”. The purpose of the American designer Nadia Anochie in fact is to leave people free to interpret, to observe and interact with a form of lighting that takes inspiration from different conceptions of life, the life cycle of trees and plants, from human anatomy, with a mixture of organic and geometric shapes in harmony and balance. An experiment, an attempt to make a simple lamp, with an abstract shape and appearance, an interactive object capable of involving the viewer.
